Max was born Oct. 15 at 3:42 in the morning. Weighed eight pounds and was 19.5 inches long. He his such a sweet baby. We are so lucky and blessed to have such a beautiful healthy baby boy.

I know I say this with every post about the house, but I honestly can't believe what the yard looked like before. It was a jungle. What did we see in this house??? It has been really hard and really nice to make it our own. I don't think we had any idea what we were getting ourselves into when we bought this house. I LOVE having a yard and grass.

Penelope broke her collarbone the other day. I feel so bad. The first few days were rough but she is doing much better now. She has to wear the sling for 6 weeks.

All we have to do is get a bobcat and level the ground out, put in a new sprinkler system and then sod it. I can't wait the go out with Penny and play in the yard. I don't know what was worse, the house or the yard.

Yes, we are still working on our house. It's never ending. We are still not done with the bathroom. We have to tile everything. I'm thinking white subway tile with gray grout behind the tub and hexagon black and white flooring. Now it just finding the time to figure out how to tile and do it.

Believe it or not but this little section was a lot of work (okay the whole house was).
This area was especially hard because it's so tall. Notice the wallpaper on the right is different from the wallpaper on the left. Funny... First, We had to take all the wallpaper off. If you have taken off wallpaper before you know how hard it can be. Second, there was the popcorn ceiling that Justin had to scrape off. Third, painting the walls and ceiling. I kinda wanted to keep the light fixture and put it back up but it got ruined during demolition.

professional sledding season comes to a close

At the close of the 2010-2011 sledding season we see a new champion rise to the podium. In the past few years there have been many competitors such as Joe, Dan, Shad, Luke and many others. The competition for first place has really only been between two men, Justin and Dustin.

Two similar names with very different styles of sledding. Dustin has had the title for two years but this year it was taken from him. Some of the races were as close as a hundredth of a second.

Tempers flared when competitors were put in the wall or there was illegal use of hands or arms. Some races even had one of the competitors spin a complete 360.

There were 27 races and there is still some dispute about what the final count was.
14-13 or 20-7.

In the end there can only be one champion and this year the man holding the trophy is JUSTIN STEWART.

This is as good as it's going to get. For now anyway. Ideally I would like to get a white more modern crib (dwell studio crib from target). But, that just means I have to try and sell the one I have on KSL. I just don't have time to do that. I guess beggars can't be choosers, right... I still need to paint the rocker white as well. But other then that it's done... for now...

Here's Penelope's room. I'm giving myself a month to finish it. I have a lot of work ahead of me. I need to get a dresser, hang pictures, find a better rug, paint some furniture, and much much more. With the holidays coming up it might take a bit longer. (I know, it's a bit PINK but she is going to love it when she's older)

We are going to do a white subway tile backsplash in the kitchen. It might not get done for a while though.

Finally after four and a half long months of renovating we are in and it feels so nice. We told ourselves that we will never renovate a house again. But it was kinda nice making it our own. We still have to put up some blinds, curtains and pictures. Slowly but surely we are getting it done. I love how everything is coming together. P.S. How much do you love the chandelier? It's my favorite thing....

Here is Grandma Stewart holding her 49th great grandchild. WOW. AF hospital was amazing. I highly recommend it. Traci is home and both her and baby Penelope are doing great. Thanks for all the baby gifts and prayers.

Pretty Penelope is here. 7 pounds 3 ounces 19 inches long. Traci had to have a C section which was scary but the doctors did a great job and within 7 minutes from the first cut the baby was out. Both Traci and the baby are great.
